The Ogre and Mad Ogre are located quite close to one another, considering all you have to do is go a bit north on the Sebucus Islands to find the Mad Ogre. It's significantly stronger and should be avoided until Vidna has been covered in the Mist. In other words, do not go west from the bridge until you are ready. The special move from the Mad Ogre is the same, increasing its strength.
