Van Saryu (Notice that it's Van instead of Bon, the King's real name) is another challenging boss and is fought immediately after the 2x Kemaro.
Van Saryu isn't any more difficult than the last battle with Songi (Part 2), really. His normal attacks take about the average health of 400 HP per turn, without spirit, and his special attack, Earthquake, is really the only move you have to watch out for.
He uses Earthquake quite often, so unless you have a healer with a high level Orb, then you will be having to suck down your Healing Flowers for the group. Earthquake, if you couldn't guess, attacks the entire party and takes roughly 600-700 HP without spirit.
Something to hope you don't have to worry about when battling Van Saryu is if he uses the attack "Jugger Power." This increases all the stats in Van Saryu and can make him more dangerous than before (especially Earthquake)!
When Van Saryu is defeated, the Sim-Seru will destroy itself and disappear.
