Mystic Shield

Cort is the brother of Noa. He underestimates the Ra-Seru and explains that he was the reason the Ra-Seru presented themselves to the heroes. His original plan was to attack the Genesis Trees with the Mist, lure the Ra-Seru out, and use them to create more Mist Generators. Unfortunately, they grew more powerful than he had expected and made it to <Jette's Absolute Fortress>.

Since ever the Mist first appeared, Cort has been wearing a Sim-Seru the entire time. It's first noticed by King Nebular, but he disregards it even though he was surprised to see it at first. Over time, you can see that the Sim-Seru has grown a lot larger than it was originally (or at least from what you could see).

Guilty Cross

There are a few special moves done by Cort, and in fact, they're the only attacks Cort does. He never does any physical attacks to the heroes throughout the battle. The first move that Cort will do, and it always goes first, is the Mystic Shield. Note that it's called the "Mystic" shield...As Mystics are presented in the second game. Does it have any relation or is it just coincidence? The shield can be damaged ONLY by arts and Seru. All regular physical damage is ignored, so make sure to use spirit and use Miracle Arts when possible.

The second special move done by Cort is called the Guilty Cross. It is probably in existence as a move to give the player guilt for "betraying" the Mist.

Juggernaut

The last of the special moves that Cort has is called Mystic Circle... Another move that is oddly named "Mystic."

Although not really a special move, but still may be counted as one (which would void the last sentence), he actually has one other move that's sometimes rare to see. The move is called "Evil Seru Magic." Cort will summon Juggernaut, probably through his own Sim-Seru, and make it shoot a large beam at the entire party. It's a really powerful attack that could easily knock everyone out if they're not already using spirit.

Noa's Stance

At the end of the battle, regardless of who defeats Cort, Noa will be the one to do the final stance. It shows her with a sad face, knowing that they just defeated her own brother.
