The Jelly Melt is probably the hardest creature to fight in the Sewers. The main reason is because they're extremely hard to hit and they also absorb half the physical damage done to them. As the strategy guide description says, use low-aimed attacks (It's not recommended to use demon thrust, as the art misses the Jelly Melts). With Kazan, Try using nothing but the "down" attack... No special moves at all and it usually kills them off. Whatever happens, make sure the Jelly Melts are the first to be defeated in the battle since their attack damage is also ridiculous.
